The hospitality of the hotelier

The host's response to my 1 raking review is lie. I include photos of front door and view, his WhatApp message and the physical cut caused by his violance. I called the police and I had the recording of my police call. But I could not load the audio here. I you want to hear my desperate call, I can email to you.

The owner talks incessantly and lacks control of his temper. He destroyed one of my belongings in a fit of rage and threatened my safety without any excuse. 1. On arrival, we found the accommdation far below our expectations. The accommodation was not a hotel, but rooms in the owner's house. The principal picture on the booking.com website is not of the property, but a part image of the Trojan horse on the seafront of Canakkale with the owner's sign "NR1" superposed on it. The electric kettle for us was stationed in the landing hall and shared among all the rooms on our floor. 3. I followed the owner's message of not cooking in my room and my understanding was that the landing hall was not part of my room, as his electric kettle was in the handing hall. When he saw me using my personal travel electric soup maker in the hall (a plastic thing smaller than his electric kettle) through video surveillance, without listening to a single word of explanation, he smashed my soup maker immediately. Then in an aggressive fit of temper he demanded we check out immediately at around 9 pm. 4. When we did not pack up our belongings, he marched into our room and forcefully grabbed several of our cases and threw them into the hall in a pile. When he violently manhandled my 70 year old husband and caused a long cut on his arm, I called the police. Two police officers in a police car came. After listening to both sides of the story, the senior police officer instructed the owner to let us stay that night. Before following the police officer's instructions, the owner searched my suitcase and took away my electric travel kettle. We slept that night in a state of anxiety and got up unusually early the next morning because we preferred the safety of the waiting hall of the Canakkale coach station to remaining in that property. As a 63 year old woman, I have travelled to more than 45 countries.

Room was as young expect. Central, clean, good place to sleep and explore the city. Good budget option.

Blankets could have been a little more comfortable but wasn't a big deal
