Allen Lake Resort Richfield Springs Cooperstown

We were Upstate for the night and needed a place to stay. I found this Resort online and I am glad that I did. When I entered our room I was surprised how spacious it was. It had a couch and another sitting area and 2 Queen beds. The room was clean and I have to say the bath towels were soft and absorbent. It Included a Continental Breakfast which was plentiful. The property has a pool, sauna, and exercise room also. I had the pleasure of conversing with the Manager, Janet, who was warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again If I was in the area. It's close to Cooperstown and other places worth visiting.

This property is a hidden gem. We chose to stay here as it was conveniently located on our vacation route from Cooperstown (Baseball HOF) to Niagara Falls but didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be a great find. The hosts were extremely helpful. They have obviously put a lot of work into making this a clean, comfortable and well-appointed facility. The indoor pool was very enjoyable. The fitness room is more extensive than any hotel's I have used. The bedroom is gigantic with much more space than we could use. I highly recommend this resort.

Despite the sign at the road, upon arrival we were uncertain that we had found the right place as the street side of the resort does not look particularly inviting and (presently) has only dirt/mud driveways. However, once driving around to the back of the building where the parking area and main door to the resort are located, all was good and our enjoyable time at the resort commenced.

Very clean and private! Janet was an excellent host! Perfect night for my sons birthday. Looking forward to our next visit.

Location was remote and beautiful! Breakfast was amazing and owner would make sure my daughter would have her favorite donuts each morning!

The room was big! Water was hot in the shower!

The host were very friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast was just fine and the location in the country adds to the sense of peace and serenity.

The beds were a little to soft for my comfort but that is a small thing.
