Celebrity Boutique Hotel

Loved everything about the hotel room and location.

We always stay at the Celebrity when we come down to South Dakota and we are frequent visitors and always give recommendations to stay here. I even had the company I work for buy packages to stay here for prizes at our Christmas event. One of the main reasons for wanting to stay here was because 1) the staff is so friendly 2) The rooms are reasonably priced 3) Parking. Recently on the last 5 stays there it has been horrible! The front desk lady, I believe her name is Carol, has been rude and unfriendly. We stayed there last weekend and stayed Thursday-Sunday. We parked in the parking lot beside the building but left Friday morning as I have doctor appointments in Rapid. I had a procedure done and my husband pulled up to go park where we left. I slowly made my way to the desk and asked if someone could open the parking lot so we could park in the parking spot we were assigned. Carol, or whatever her name is, came shooting out the back gave me some long explanation about some girl that needs to park there and not us and proceeded to tell me because my vehicle is a small SUV that they need to save it for trucks. Funny how that worked because all weekend long there were 3 open parking spots Friday night and Saturday night. I have pictures to prove it. Also, funny how there were many SUVs parked in that parking lot and I believe there was only 1-2 trucks parked there. Mind you she made me walk all the way back outside after I just had a hip procedure done to go get my license plate number so she could print us a parking pass. I don't know what that lady's problem is but she has been very rude! I'm very disappointed in the treatment I have received from her the last 4-5 stays there. I don't know if I'll every be a returning customer because of JUST her, everything else about this hotel I love but the interaction with your front desk lady has been absolutely miserable and not customer friendly at ALL!!!

EVERYTHING! The staff are beyond helpful and nice . The owner Ken is so nice and welcoming. This hotel is IMMACULATE clean. The private deck is a total bonus also . Cheap drinks , great slots ....this will now be our go to hotel for future stays .

That the games shuts off in the middle of the nite, but really not a big deal.
