"Warm, super friendly and steeped in history- my experience of the old Slovenia!"

Perfect guesthouse in the depths of the Slovenian Forests- calm atmosphere, lovely building, quaint and homely. Everything I was hoping to experience. The owner couldn’t do enough to make my stay comfortable and bent over backwards to meet my awkward arrival time- perfect host!

Nothing. (You do need a hire car to get around the town and area though)

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Darüber hinaus konnte man einen Balkon nutzen. Die Gastgeber sind super engagiert und hilfsbereit und haben uns viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben.

Very friendly host who gave us the best recommendations to see the beautiful surroundings and nature (he also put us in touch with a contact person for bear watching). Good breakfast and easy check-in and -out. Room is a little dated but big, clean, cosy and with large windows. Parking space at the building.

De ruime, slaap- en badkamer! Heel veel lichtinval en ook heel stijlvol ingericht. De eigenaar was geweldig! We hadden een erg warme ontvangst en mochten zelf een kamer kiezen omdat nier alles bezet was. Hij gaf ons ook goede tips mee voor een wandeling in de buurt of om iets te gaan eten. Top!!!

Er is gratis koffie en thee voorzien, maar ik ben nogal een koffie drinker. Dus ik had graag wat meer koffie pads gehad. Maar dat is echt een persoonlijk ding. En mochten we er de eigenaar over aangesproken hebben, dan had hij er zeker extra voorzien.

This was one of the nicest hosts I have ever met. We was incredibly helpful and friendly and even joined us at night to told us some historic background of the city and the guesthouse. The house is a little outdated as expected but we had a comfortable stay nonetheless. Everyone was super friendly.
