Harbor Inn

We spent a long weekend here - with nothing to go off and completely unfamiliar with the location. What a find! It's a great hotel to base out of for Ironman weekend - walking distance to the T1/bike drop. I guess you "could" walk to the starting line too - but there's a shuttle from T1. The hotel had everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, clean shower/bathroom. I also truly appreciated the communication from the hotel in advance of our arrival - they made sure to reach out to verify our arrival time, and answer any questions. (1 car per party btw). Depending on where your room is - the road noise may be a bit much while on the balcony. We were in room 201 - so right next to Causeway! It did not bother us while in the room. You can walk to local dining options easily - breakfast, lunch and dinner options for all budgets and tastes. I would definitely stay here again. We had all we needed, and felt safe and comfortable. If you're going for the race - you can drive from the hotel to T2/Finish line area easily even with road closures. Just an aside for your awareness.

Location was more than sufficient. Short drive to where we wanted to go.

This room was dirty, dusty, and nasty! The bunk beds wreak of urine! There was dust everywhere, no way to clean the partial kitchen...only dishwasher pods. How do you cook and wipe counters? No dishwashing liquid, the room keys dont work most of the time. The staff lie on the guests and say they'll refund and when it's time to credit they deny any issues. They change your headcount from 5 to 2ppl. These places will ruin your Wrightsville experience
