The Waves

Fantastic location, right on the estuary, a couple blocks from the main intersection with shops and restaurants. Plenty of space to spread out, well-stocked kitchen.

The check in time was 3, then 4, but the room wasn’t ready until 4:30. We happily tucked into a restaurant for a bowl of chowder.

Location was central to walk all around and close to beach access. There was plenty of windows for seabreeze and light. Doors open lets in the ocean sounds!

I would have preferred to have unobstructed oceanfront views but this room was available at a decent price. The comfort of the space made up for it.

Room: The room was cozy and super comfortable. It was clean, well maintained and the temperature was comfortable. View: The view was amazing. The room had wrap around windows overlooking the ocean, and the sea is visible from the bed. Location: The beach is steps away, and there are a bunch of restaurants in the neighborhood within 2-3 mins of walking. Staff: The staff were super kind and very attentive.

Fantastic location in a fantastic town. The room was clean and quiet with a view of the ocean. When we got up in the morning there was an elk walking on the beach! We stayed one night and it was one of the the only times I’ve ever been sad to leave a place. I wish we’d stayed longer.

The only slightly negative thing about the place was that it showed some wear from use but it was totally acceptable and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the place.
