From the moment I arrived someone stepped out as my uber pulled up and took my suitcases to my room. The front desk gave me a quick tour of the downstairs and the lovely garden where you can sit outside and enjoy a meal, the porch where you can relax and read or enjoy the tea they serve in the afternoon, and the lovely dining rooms to enjoy the amazing and delicious breakfast served with kind and attentative hospitality. My room was wonderful - large comfy king bed with green trees tops all around my windows. Super quiet too ~ I enjoyed perfect peaceful nights sleep. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon!

Love how personalized it was! The staff was very friendly and they were also very accommodating! ten out of ten! I appreciate the outdoor and indoor options! Jackson was very helpful with some prints I had to get done for work and Abby was a delight! I hope to have many more stays in the future!

Charming. Lovely wrap around deck. Cozy and so close to walk to Edgartown. Highly recommend. Abby and Jackson and the entire team exceptional.

This stay by far exceeded my expectations. As soon as you pull up to the front door, it immediately felt like home. The front desk was extremely friendly and gave great recommendations. The breakfast and tea was phenomenal. The hotel staff had to be the kindest people on the island. The outdoor patio was such a joy to hang out on. The rooms were excellent. TV had great selections. The bed was nice and clean with soft pillows. Free water was such a convenience The location was perfect. I will always try to stay here when I visit the Vineyard.

Maybe they can add a full body mirror to the rooms.

Our stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience for the most part. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed—everything we had hoped for and more. We were traveling with our dog, and it was heartwarming to find that the hotel had prepared a few treats just for her, along with a welcome dessert for us. These thoughtful touches made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The hotel itself is full of charm and character. Every corner reveals a detail that shows how much love and attention have been poured into the place. From the elegant decor to the cozy atmosphere, it’s clear that the owners are deeply invested in creating a memorable experience for their guests. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would gladly return. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.

The breakfast experience, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. Given that the property has been awarded a Michelin Key, we were surprised that the dining didn’t reflect the same level of excellence. There was no menu provided, and the staff did not clearly explain the available options, which made the experience confusing and underwhelming. Although we stayed for four nights, we only had breakfast on the first and last days—the latter only because we were rushing to catch a ferry. Overall, we felt the breakfast options were limited and did not meet the standard we anticipated. While we understand that not all team members may be fully trained, a printed menu listing the daily offerings and ingredients—especially for guests with dietary restrictions—would be a simple yet effective improvement. We would have happily made our selections through reception if the wait staff had not equipped to guide us. A bit more structure and communication would go a long way in creating a more seamless and enjoyable breakfast experience. I also appreciated the thoughtful message I received upon booking, offering assistance with restaurant reservations or activities. However, none of my follow-up inquiries received a response, which was a bit disappointing. It would make a meaningful difference if guest replies were actively monitored and addressed.

Historically preserved and location. We absolutely loved the breakfast!! being downtown was exciting and we enjoyed sitting on the porch !
