Stumpers Hotel

La ubicación en Hokitika es muy buena (aunque el pueblo en sí, no tiene mucho para ofrecer). Ideal para pasar una noche si justo se da la necesidad.

En el restoran del hotel, hubo varios cortes de electricidad (es cierto que el clima estaba bastante inestable).

Very conveniently located, excellent price, rooms were quite clean and modern.

Wasn't ideal to have a bed under a large window, gets a bit noisy in the hallway at night but not too bad.

Most of the staff were absolutely lovely and the rooms were very clean. The location is fantastic and the food at the restaurant downstairs is pretty good. If youre an extremely heavy sleeper (and they fix the smell I mentioned below) then its a great place to stay because of the location and staff.

The bathroom looked nothing like the photos, it had an outdated shower and the sink is in the room. The toilet had a horrendous sewage smell coming from it that persisted through my stay. And it was *so* noisy I ended up leaving early to get a better sleep somewhere else. Every time a door slams the walls shake and they are so paper thin I could hear in unfortunate detail that someone in a room near me had an upset stomach. My room was overlooking the carpark and directly above a table I think the staff take their breaks at, so I was woken up by them a few times at night, and the floodlights from a nearby building which shine through the very thin blinds.

great value annd location, Room was comfortable

No lift and the carparking was limited we couldn't get any.
