Punta Chame Villas

the outside area of this motel is quite nice with two large pools each of which has a separate shallow area for children. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the beach and the kite surfing club so if you're there for that, it's great. The staff were not very friendly although they weren't very busy so we ate at the kite surfing club. The price was reasonable though.

The room was large but literally had no furniture except the bed and one chair at a small built in desk. The only place for suitcases was in the large closet which was awkward. We had a nice balcony facing towards the ocean which we could see over the building next door but there were no chairs out there. And despite the room being enormous, the bathroom was really really small. It just felt weird.

The pools looked nice, and the food was acceptable. The room ac worked well.

Firstly, the road up to the place was full of potholes. The check-in was very informal. The man checking us in never smiled or looked directly at us but acted as if he was being inconvenienced. He stressed that no food or drink was allowed in the rooms, yet our room floor was filthy, sticky, and sandy. This motel is under construction, and until it is complete, this place should be considered as a choice of LAST RESORT. All food was served underneath an old palm frond roof, which leaked on the tables during the rain. The food service was very slow and the staff kept disappearing. Finally, the motel was located beside a home. Teenagers had an all-night pool party and were loud all night. Our staff could not be found.

The location is very good! It is not on the beach. We enjoyed the food and the pool areas. The beverages were very good.

Rooms are good. Some communication issues with staff. However, our Spanish isn’t very good
