Nice room, good location

There were mice in the room, we could hear them squeaking all day and night. But this wasn’t even the worst part. The music from the bar next to the hotel was VERY LOUD going on till 3AM! This was not normal, I have never heard anything like this. It sounded like our bed was right in the middle of the bar, it was moving to the beat of the music, it was unbearable, even with earplugs. We are a young couple (24 years old) and we are very tolerant, normally we don’t nag about this kind of stuff but this was just unacceptable. When I went to the reception to talk to an employee, all he could tell me was: “oh your earplugs don’t work?” and “I can’t do anything about it, it’s not like in your country” like???? We even had to cancel our trip the next day because we didn’t sleep at all. If you value a good night sleep, please don’t come here.

location was good for us - right smack in the center of town with easy access to public transport. Staff were also great and super helpful.

Probably a wider El Nido issue but shower functions were poor - the water from the shower was barely stronger than a trickle, and even with that slow a flow, drainage took ages. Mosquitoes were also an issue, especially in the eating area on the balcony.

TV in a weird place but not a problem can sit on couch and watch if required, wouldn't let it put anyone off
