I stayed at RedDoorz @ The Providence Tower last March 20-21, 2025 for a conference in a nearby school, and overall, my experience was quite decent considering the price and location. The hotel’s biggest advantage is definitely its location. It’s very close to DLSU, CSB, and St. Scholastica making it a convenient location to attend conferences in the area. There are convenience stores, cafes, and several food spots nearby, which made getting meals and essentials easy. The room was basic but functional. It had the essentials like a comfortable bed, working air-conditioning, and a clean private bathroom. Wi-Fi was decent enough for emails and streaming. Cleanliness was acceptable. Towels and linens were provided and appeared fresh. The bathroom was clean, though some fixtures showed signs of age. Housekeeping was available upon request, which was good for a short stay. Staff were polite and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth. They answered basic questions and were accommodating when I asked for assistance with directions and recommendations. The downside part of my stay is the elevator where the indicator light for a particular level or floor does not function. The thing is you have to wait for the elevator door to open and check on the number of the floor or level you are going. For the price I paid, the stay was worth it. It’s a budget accommodation, so don’t expect luxury, but if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in the Taft area, especially close to the universities, it’s a good choice. I would recommend this for short stays, student visits, or budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location.
