Wyndham Phuket Airport

Grounds were pleasant.

My wife and I stayed at Wyndham Royal Lee Phuket for one night on the 23rd of November 2024 during our honeymoon trip to Thailand. Unfortunately, our experience was far below expectations, and we left feeling extremely disappointed. The first issue we encountered was with the cleanliness of our room (A519). On the evening of our stay, I saw and photographed a cockroach in the room. In total, I counted four cockroaches, which was both alarming and unacceptable. When I reported this to reception, housekeeping arrived but spent only two minutes looking around before shrugging their shoulders and leaving without addressing the problem. The following morning, things only got worse. I woke up with dozens of bites on my chest and stomach, which appeared to be caused by bed bugs. This was not only distressing but also raised serious concerns about the hygiene and maintenance of the property. Given the issues we faced, it was a deeply disappointing experience, especially as this stay was part of our honeymoon. We had expected far higher standards from a hotel under the Wyndham name. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues and improve the cleanliness and service to prevent similar experiences for future guests. I cannot recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

Conveniently located to the airport. Modern spacious rooms. Friendly welcome at reception and very helpful in booking me a taxi.

Rooms are not located near the reception so you have a little shuttle bus to take you from reception to the room. Room was clean but I had a massive cockroach in my room. The bedroom area is cramped and the doors opening inwards make it difficult to move around. There is no instruction for how to use the safe, nor the TV.

Being a newer resort , we were not familiar that they had the facilities for restaurant or bar service.

Shuttle service drivers were quite often late in pick ups or had to ring reception to ask if the shuttle was coming.

The rooms were clean. The overall project (when finished) will be great. The deisgn of the building was good.

The project is not finished. It's a mix of owners, co-owners, residends and tenants. There is no real hotel with check-in. The check-in was as hussle. The breakfast was really below par. You could not find any staff. This is not a hotel, but a project that originally was to be sold to Chinese, but COVID came. After selling some flats to co-owners, they decided to have a hotel to generate value. But the project is less than half done. Everything is like hald-done, abandoned. The lake in the middle seems deserted and the breaksfast area (there is no restaurant) is for a 2 star hotel. When (if) the project is finished (currently in phase 1 of 3) will be great. But, it's unlikely that will be finished. Not recommended

Everything was fine, no big problems. But there is something that could be done better. Good room cleaning. Great location, very quiet and peaceful area. Nearby is the beautiful Naiyang Beach. An excellent place for walks is the national park, which can be reached in 10 minutes. there is a shuttle to the beach I would like to wish the hotel staff and service: I ordered the room for my daughter and she lived with her boyfriend. They are happy because it was their first time in this place. I've been there many times and I know that the service can be improved. Please maintain quality and do better for your guests. I ordered a room with 1 large bed, but I was given a room with 2 separate beds. Upon check-in, I was given 1 key to the room and I asked for a long time that they would give me a second key, since the room is for 2 people and it is not convenient to use 1 key. There were problems with the pool and it could not be used for several days. It needed a thorough cleaning.
