close to the beach!!

La très bonne situation de l’hôtel, sur le partie calme de la grande plage, très agréable la journée et le soir. Le monsieur de l’hôtel a l’abord sympathique. Le thé, café, bananes et biscuits à volonté en guise de petit déjeuner jusqu’à une heure avancée de la journée : une bonne surprise.

Nous avons du changer de chambre et payer un gros surplus car la chambre avec le lit d’appoint demandé n’avait pas été prise en compte. Puis un changement de chambre encore la deuxième nuit. Une couette légère sans housse. Le bruit dans la rue la nuit. Le jour du départ, nous avons libéré comme prévu les chambres à midi et nous avons été informés que pour continuer à utiliser les chaises longues il fallait payer 100 thb par siège.

Hotel is right on the beach and we had one of the two rooms at the front with a nice view of the beach and a very nice balcony. It is at the end of the beach so a little bit quieter with a beach bar and sun beds in front. The sea is very close, less than 50m. The hotel includes a simple breakfast with toast, coffee and fruit but there are plenty of restaurants along the beach with breakfast lunch and dinner and drinks/snacks all day, we tried several and all were good/excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and provided free bottles of water and toiletries every day. The hotel is an easy 15min walk from the ferry jetty but there are also shared taxis which stop outside the hotel. If you use the sunbeds (some with shade) then various vendors come along offering fruit and snacks, drinks and snacks are also available from the hotel shop and the beach bar, all at normal prices. One of the highlights for me was the Thai massage from one of the ladies on the beach, I don't know her name, I know her only as Number Three according to the number on her badge :-). It was so good I booked another one the next day with pedicure, all for a very reasonable price. My back pain disappeared as if by magic!! Highly recommended!

The closest village was not really all that attractive, pleasant enough though.

Lite tunn frukost. Enbart kaffe, te, rostat bröd o marmelad.

Alles war super! Sehr gute Lage.
