No breakfast for me. Fantastic location.

Location

The hotel is located aside from highway so looks like not to many visitors. But location is great - in top of the town and park around. We arrived around 11:00 p.m shortly after booking a room and was pleasantly amazined by the temperature in a room.

It took some time to find a hotel. In truth, even Google was confused. I would advise to update hotel's route signs.

Very pretty building inside and out, good, quiet location, warm room (December), comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, warm shower. Staff friendly and at an extra cost a simple breakfast and one dish dinner was offered.

The window was missing one curtain so we could only cover half of the window in the evening; TV only had 3 Polish channels( one of them local), BBC World Service and two German speaking in spite of being advertised as a room with satellite TV. We were informed that there would be a wider choice made available at the beginning of 2023. The restaurant and bar were closed and there weren’t any tea or coffee making facilities at all, no glasses even for water, we had to purchase our own in town. The dinner offered was meat based and despite earlier notification that we are vegetarians there was no alternative so we had to eat outside. The restaurants were around a mile away walking distance (OK if you have a car). It may be different in high season. We were there 27/12-30/12.

The building and grounds are lovely although maybe a little dated! We were able to access a really good local taxi service to take us to a variety of places - the staff were helpful in arranging these!

Lack of communications as we couldn’t speak Polish! There wasn’t access to a bar during the evenings and we had the key to let ourselves in and lock up behind us!
