The Grand Residence Hotel is great, I have stayed in this hotel before and that is why I chose this hotel again. Absolutely quiet location, great restaurant that belongs to the hotel, very kind and helpful staff, super nice and helpful owners.

the room is small but everything else was nice and good. theres 7/11 nearby if u want to have dinner or brekkie. also we got the best service ever! we never requested for new towels etc but they still came to our room and provided new towels, water bottles etc. thank you so much!! and they are so so friendly. really enjoyed staying here during our trip.

for some people maybe will think the room is too small but we just went out all day and only in the room at night to sleep so there was no issue at all

If you want to feel at home away from home, this is the best place to stay. From the first day, my boyfriend and I felt beyond welcomed. Think exchange student kinda of feel. We were treated by smiles, generosity, and pure kindness. From the amazing food to excellent room cleaning and maintenance, and laundry you will have everything that you need. 

One of my favorite things is waking up and seeing the sunrise on my balcony every morning to start my day ( See photo) And the workers here are more like my second family!! They always remember our food preferences, which makes every visit feel personalized and special. What truly sets them apart, however, is their willingness to go the extra mile. They not only allow us to try different foods but also surprise us with snacks and treats, showcasing a genuine interest in enhancing our dining experience. One memorable instance was when I purchased a snack from a street vendor that we couldn't find in stores. One of the family members took the initiative to order it for us, demonstrating an unparalleled level of customer care. This kind of attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction is truly remarkable. This is only one moment but we have had moments like this every single day staying here, which made us want to stay even longer! They are always so kind when we come down to eat and greet us with a smile. I appreciate how they also help and challenge me with learning Thai :) The family owners are always have a smiling face, lovely to talk with and include any traveling instructions to help facilitate our transportation throughout Thailand so we knew how to get to all of the attractions around Bangkok and other desired destinations without any issues. This is forever my home in Thailand and if you want a place to stay in Thailand, this is the place to go!!

Extraordinary experience! The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and functional, the rooms spacious, with all amenities and a balcony. Restaurant on site, with delicious food and very good value for money. Well connected with the city. I'll be back again. Thank you!

I eat once a day so my meal was lunch or dinner. The food here is delicious. It is cooked when ordered, so it is fresh, I'm a picky eater and I was more than delighted to choose my next meal. I was never disappointed. This question was about breakfast. However, if I misunderstood and it was referring to overall likes, I liked the fact that this is a family owned business and the family works diligently to provide 5 star service for an economical price. Unlike large chain establishments where you're a guest, here you are treated like family. They go beyond duty in service and press to make your visit pleasurable. So much so that I extended my stay. Don't believe me come check this place out.

If you read my likes above what's not to like. If you are looking for red carpet aesthetics and opulence remember you paid for an economical price. The upside is you'll walk into an expirence of the best service you will ever recieve.

A very quiet hotel, good cuisine and very nice people who always helped me with everything.

There is nothing.

The friendliness on welcoming guests is wonderful. A family run hotel that does everything to make your stay comfortable. Their food is the best I have tasted in Thailand. It is maybe a little old but we all get old. Cleanliness was A plus. This will now be our hotel of choice to stay in whenever in Bangkok. Cannot think of anything that we did not like.

The staff were super lovely, really helpful and kind. They gave me loads of good information and tried to help me in every way I needed. When I arrived I had been bitten previously (from lying on grass...do not do it!) many times by ants and they did everything they could to help me with that. I really appreciated it. They were so helpful in telling me the best places to go to and how to get there cheaply. The room was big, bright and with air conditioning, there were two good desks I had a nice balcony. The bed was huge. Everything was clean and they offered to clean the room everyday if I wanted it. The wifi was excellent. I got 2 bottles of water everyday which I appreciated a lot. They have a restaurant downstairs which is really delicious and superb value! Excellent price for the room to.

The bed was a little hard for my liking but thats not to say there was anything wrong at all, the bed was great, this is just a personal preference. I ended up sleeping on the duvet and that sorted it for me. The location is a little out the way of main attractions but for the price you can't beat it.
