NZHot shower and they gave us 50% discount for having to put up with reno noise after we asked. The lady was nice. Oh.... Let's not forget the free condom in the bathroom 😉
On arrival (around 3pm) they told us they were rennovating level 5... They did not tell us that this would be happening until 11pm and starting at 6am. The walls are very thin and our room was also directly outside the lift with a very loud lift bell everytime the doors opened. Aside from the noise, the room was very dirty (see picture of the wall), even the toilet paper was brown on the ends. The bed was as hard as a rock and the room had an overall damp smell. Maybe the newly renovated rooms will be OK but the thin walls and the cleanliness was not great.
