Super nice hosts! There is no heating so if you visit in the colder months make sure you bring warm clothes with you. There are also bikes for rental which was super fun to ride around with! The little restaurant/ bar had very affordable and delicious drinks too!

The staff was very kind, the breakfast was also good, nice to have a restaurant at the accommodation as well. We found out they also rented scooters and bikes, however this wasn't communicated, it was something we had to find on our own.

Maybe I just expected more because of the reviews were so good, but there was quite a bit of mold. The mold was obviously covered with painted, but still visible, and the room had a smell. I understand it's a humid location, but having it painted over isn't fixing the problem. This is the first place I stayed where the mold was even on the pillows (all of them), so I was scared to sleep on them as black mold is dangerous. I didn't bother to say anything as the hotel should be changing pillowcases therefore seeing the mold every time they clean. Additionally, we had laundry cleaned, and it was returned somewhat dirty still. We ended up having the clothes cleaned again somewhere else, then they were cleaned properly. And, on our last day it was raining and water actually was dripping through our ceiling. The dripping woke me up early in the morning. This was a spot where mold had been painted over as well. I advised the staff and they did nothing. It was very concerning, and I just want other travellers to be aware. Hopefully the hotel can fix these things in the future.

Good hotel where everything is ok, I just don't think it quite deserves the same rating as other accommodations in this town that are a bit nicer. It's not like anything is wrong with it, but if I have to be honest I gotta say it's 'good' but not 'great'.

My room's window led to the corridor, which is not a big deal but basically what I mean when I write that the place is decent but not fantastic.

The rooms were fantastic! Location was quiet and close to some nice rice fields to walk around. Breakfast was also quite nice. It felt very small and family run, and the staff there were really lovely.

It was a 5 or so minute walk outside of the centre of the town, where all the shops / restaurants / buses were, which was a bit of a pain. The owner was lovely but her English wasn’t the best, so there would be misunderstandings a lot.

The ubication is so good because the hotel is closet of everything but in a quiet area. The staff were very kind and we did free early check in as soon as arrived. They have a lot of motor bike for rent as well as a bar in front.

The breakfast is good but simple not too much options and small coffee

We had an amazing stay at Cozy Son, it’s very affordable and has incredible service. The family there greeted us and checked us in immediately. The rooms were very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. It’s in an amazing location too because it’s just a 5 minute walk from all the restaurants and bars, meaning you’re really close but also away from the noise which is perfect. They had motorbikes and bicycles available to rent as well as helping out with tours, attractions recommendations and transport the day we left. The breakfast was also lovely and lots of choice depending on your preference. They even gave us a little bag of bananas for our travel day when we left which was really sweet. The family went above and beyond when my dad lost his wallet not far from the hotel. Their son found the wallet and immediately took it to the police station with everything still inside. We were panicking looking for it and they had posted it on Facebook so when we went to shops we recently visited, they directed us to the hotel and from there the family kindly took us to the police station to collect the wallet. Such kind people and we are so grateful for them! We will be back again soon!

The staff were amazing and sorted us out with a very affordable price for transport to Hanoi. The breakfast was nice and included in the price. The location is great, close to cafes, bars and restaurants. If you like walking it's close enough to the Mua caves & Bich Dong. The room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and decent size bathroom with hot shower.

The night lamp didn't have a bulb in it & the cable for the kettle was very short. We had to get crafty to boil the kettle as the socket was higher than the table. We had cups but no sachets of coffee or teabags provided. However it wasn't really a deal-breaker.
