Good choice if you have to catch a train early in the morning from Barcelos. You only cross the street and you are in the train station. The place is nice, they have a microwave, tea and coffee, hair dryer. It is clean and the personal at the reception was helpful.

It was a bit cold.

The clean and modern bathroom was wonderful. The shower was great with powerful water pressure! The bed was clean and comfortable and I slept great in this room that also has a heat and cooling unit. The gentleman at reception was very kind and gave some great dinner recommendations.

I didn't really like the striped wallpaper. The room had great bones and potential to look really great with some updated furnishings. A little investment in updating the room could really pay off. The new floors and new bathroom are great though.
