Golden Palm HaLong Hotel

Man hat durch große bodentiefe Panoramafenster einen herrlichen Blick auf die Ha Long Bucht. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war gut, jedoch sollte man den für diese Region unvermeidbaren Schimmelbefall in bestimmten Bereichen der Zimmer akzeptieren.

Das Frühstück war eher übersichtlich.

The budget friendly hotel was clean, spacious with 2 double beds and friendly staff. The location is en route to Hai Phong airport. So if ur looking for a night stop after visiting Ha Long Bay this is a very good choice. Rooms directly face the Marina, very good view. Good value for money

Everything was fine with the property - comfortable, great location.

The ventilation of the rooms - we are non-smokers and in the hotel smoking is prohibited, but somebody in our floor was smoking all the time. When we arrived and entered to our room for the first time - the feeling was like someone just finished cigarete in the room just before our arrival. We have asked to change the room while we went out for dinner. After we got back the staff said they are sorry, but there are no spare rooms in the hotel and they spoke with our neighbors, that smoking is not allowed in the hotel. We stayed there for one night and we woke up 3 times because of the fumes from the cigarette… I think - they didn’t get punished for smoking…

Soundproofing was non existent. Could hear every little sound from other rooms

Hospitality was excellent and friendly staff. Nice view of boats coming in.

Location not the best in terms of town activities. Limited choices of restaurants in the area for fine dining. Nil shopping opportunities nearby.

It was clean, with comfortable rooms and modern facilities. The hotel is well located for a trip to Halong Bay, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
