Cat Tien Backpackers Hostel

The hostel lady was really kind and she was a great help to me. She went the extra mile to help me to find my connecting bus to cat tien national park as i couldn't read vietnamese. The facilities were great and the food she made were sumptuous. Overall, this hostel is a great place for a homestay and i would recommend it to other people visiting cat tien national park.

The hosts welcomed us and eagerly showed us to our room. It was clean and comfortable. It even had AC! They made us a delicious dinner and also a great breakfast in the morning.

The staff didn't speak the best English but tried their best to communicate using translation software. The lady helped me book a night safari at the national park. She then let me rent a bicycle the next day though she told me that the archaeological site I wanted to see was too far away for that. She was right... I spent more than 6 hours getting there and back and just made the last bus back to Ho Chi Minh City in the nick of time.

I only needed a place to sleep for one night so didn't go in looking for much, but I chose the dormitory because I liked the idea of meeting other travellers. But I was the only one staying there so I didn't end up meeting anyone.

Food was excellent and very clean

Great location near national park entrance, nice staff, food was really good as well.
