I had a wonderful stay at Kameleon Blue. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist Julius gave me such a warm welcome and truly made me feel at home. His hospitality set the tone for the entire stay. All the other staff were equally friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was excellent, the spicy octopus curry was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Compliments to the kitchen! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the live music on Monday was entertaining and created a lovely atmosphere. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend Kameleon Blue and look forward to visiting again.

We loved Kameleon Blue so much we booked another night . It's a small lodge with just a few villas and a few rooms so it feels very homely. It's tucked away between bigger places , in a beautiful garden , with the small but beautiful and quiet beach just a 5 min walk away. Everyone working there treats you like family who are genuinely interested in you happiness and wellbeing, from Clifton and Julius to the very sweet Rachel and Nassor and indeed, chef Toby who magics up wonderful food worthy of a 5 star restaurant. Our little villa was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Liten bit bort från allt stoj nere i Fiskebyn, men bara några minuters promenad från havet. Den närmsta stranden är liten och har i stort sett inga försäljare som stör. Hotellet har en ganska stor meny med många olika typer av mat att välja på och personalen är verkligen superproffs. I Kizimkazi kan du snorkla ut till koraller direkt från stranden, om du lyckas lista ut var de är. Hotellet har en smakfullt designad trädgård med pool och en mysig utomhusyoga/gym-bungalow. På måndagar har de live-musik och bbq. Mycket blandat klientel, både par, singlar, familjer bor här och till restaurangen kommer även västerlänningar som bosatt sig här och äter. Bra betyg! De har solceller och generator, så elavbrotten hanteras bra.

Kameleon Blue was a beautiful garden property, featuring comfortable leisure furniture, a bar, and a pool. The food was absolutely delicious, and our room was spacious and comfortable.

The property is somewhat isolated, which might not be an issue elsewhere, but in this area the roads are largely unpaved and there is no street lighting. As a result, after our evening walks, we had to return to the hotel through complete darkness for about 15–20 minutes, which felt uncomfortable and unsafe. We recommend being prepared to use taxis frequently. Additionally, our bathroom was in need of some maintenance and could have been in better condition.

Somos una pareja con dos hijos y hemos estado probando varios hoteles alrededor de toda la isla, Camaleón Blue ha sido especial porqué te hacen sentir en casa,son super agradables y la cocina es la mejor que hemos probado en Zanzíbar y además genial de precio. Está al lado de la playa Gracias!

I have stayed 4 nights with my 3 kids and wife at Kameleon Blue. We have enjoyed the beautiful garden, the pool and the restaurant area, The staff were very friendly and helpful The food a bit pricy but tasty. The place is quiet and one can make nice walks in the surroundings, without the crowds.

The closest beach is very small and because of the tides most of the day flooded. The nearest bigger beach is a 20 min walk, But the fishers and residents do not care to keep it clean for the visitors, which is sad. There is a lot of rubbish, also coming with the water from the mainland.
