Babalao Rooftop Hotel

Babalao Hotel is centrally located, a short walking distance from Paje roundabout and very close to Paje beach. Pierre, the owner of the place has welcomed me personally as I arrived in the evening. He and the entire staff provided a perfect hospitality for me. The hotel has a great rooftop terrace where you’ll have a restaurant with a great food offer, a pool and sun beds and a fantastic view including sea view. I stayed only for one night, but will definitely return when I’ll be in Paje again.

The room downstairs I’ve stayed has only a big sliding glass door with a mosquito net frame (no other windows), I needed to open during the night in order to get fresh air inside for a comfortable sleep and that was a bit noisy early morning as people where outside talking and the staff were starting with cleaning. Both, the room and the bathroom are quite big, I missed a clothes rack in the room and a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom.

We’ve spent some days in Babalao hotel. It is really a great place! Small, very nice hotel at a paradise beach! The staff is very nice; the rooms are big, comfortable and clean. The cooks and the bar keeper are great, professional and very friendly! The food and cocktails were really tasty! The hotel has a big roof terrace with a great view, a swimming pool and a great feeling. We enjoyed our breakfast, lunch and dinner every day there. The other guest were very nice, we had interesting conversations every evening, accompanied with great music! Pierre, thank you very much! We would repeat the stay with pleasure!

Everything was great!

The staff was outstanding (always present, smiling, ready to help and go above and beyond). The atmosphere was really convivial, easy going! just what one wants in a vacation.

I would have liked air-conditioning in the rooms but this is more a nitpick than a real criticism (the fans did a good job of keeping me cool)

The staff and the owner were very welcoming and cool. I've been offered a welcoming cocktail . The rooms are big , well equiped , clean and comfortable. There's a swimming pool so it's cool if you want to chill. They offer a delicious breakfast !
