Yankee Clipper Resort Motel

Location was good.

The hotel is quite rundown on the outside. There was a cease and desist order on the office door. There was a fight and police questioning those staying at the hotel(including us). Two men made inappropriate remarks to my daughter and her friend (men much older and the girls are 16). The owner/manager never reached out to apologize for the issues. Very disappointed with the experience overall.

The location was very good. It was very convenient to everywhere I needed to be. Lots of nice amenities for adults and kids.

I paid for a room with a balcony and outdoor furniture with a view. We got a tiny little room on the first floor right outside of the office, with no balcony, outdoor furniture or view. Felt a little gypt.

No carpeting was great! The extra sitting room with a couch was nice so you didnt have to sit on the bed. The larger fridge was helpful to store all our drinks. The ice machine always had plenty of ice. Close walk across the street to the beach was great. The property had a mini golf, corn hole, pong pong table, grill and flat top for use.

Walking up to the third floor is tough with coolers and luggage. Ice machine located on 2nd floor only.

Staff was really nice and accommodating. Location was ok to the water and boardwalk in the Crest.

The property is completely dated. The rooms are small cramped and completely out dated. The bathroom door was hard to open with the dresser in the way and they have a hanging bag for moisture in the room. All the loungers around the pool were old, broken and dirty and the pool water was murky. Also the furniture (chairs and tables) in the patio area and in front of each room was old, broken and rusty.
