Lovely rooms, very nice staff.

Exceptional place. The location is right beside the lake and extremely beautiful. Fair rates for all activities. The food was excellent.

The WiFi is a little weak and only available around the reception. The bathrooms seemed a little outdated, still clean though.

We had our rooms upgraded at no extra cost. Superb location, service & food great. Lovely pool and tennis courts. I really wish we had booked a couple of nights rather than the single night break in journey from Kafue NP down to Livingstone. There is a gift shop, but we had to ask if there was one as it is not obvious. Has some nice t-shirts. The lodge was built in the 1960s and is very solidly built. I am a fan of this age of lodges.

Visa credit card didn't work in the evening, but did work in the morning - fairly sure that this isn't the lodge's issue, as I had experienced this elsewhere in Zambia. I had an alternative to use at the time, so make sure that you have more than one - not Amex though.

Beautiful lodge with a great view

The receptionist was misleading us on purpose, told us we have a full board and then charged for dinner, claimed that it is not possible to pay with card and that we will need to pay extra tax(we had to spoke to the manager and it appeared that it is not a problem)

No good breakfast. Very minimum items. Very good location and environment but room service is bad. Not enough linen. No consumables in the room. Very basic accommodation. Booking.com should confirm the standard of service before include in the listing. This is second time disappointed like Hilton Chapeltown.

The food was prepared locally and with ingrediences from garden..- compliments to the chef!

-Shower should be renovated -The prices for sandwiches were the same as for dinner (although we were told they are for half price)

1.Restrictive menu. 2.Too many spiders in the rooms 3.Waiters were unavailable to render a service,probably not happy about something with there Organization. 4.Paying for Breakfast on departure date when on Booking it was clearly stated that Breakfast was included. 5.No Uniforms for some of the Employees for easy identification. 6.Carrying huge cash as i was told before departure that only cash was acceptable

It was a standard English breakfast menu but it was really good
