Very central location, kind and helpful staff, comfortable bed, cosy room

Third floor without lift with typical Dutch narrow stairs - with a suitcase simply a nightmare. Hotel is very close to the Dom cathedral and windows not sealed enough, you hear every bell of the church. Room is quite small and the bathroom simply tiny.

Sehr zentrale Lage

Das Zimmer war sehr klein und damit eng und man musste 3 sehr steile und schmale Treppen „überwinden“, um das Zimmer im obersten Stock zu erreichen, was sich mit Koffern sehr schwierig gestaltete. Da das Hotel mitten in der Fußgängerzone liegt, war es abends und morgens ziemlich laut.

Es gab kein personal vor ort, alle kommunikation war auf englisch. Für menschen mit gehbehinderung nicht geeignet. Sehr steile treppe mit zum teil schmalen stufen.

De locatie is perfect voor een ultieme Utrecht stad beleving. Midden in de stad dus af en toe de geshopte spullen 'thuis' zetten en weer door. De kamer had een klein balkonnetje met uitzicht op de Dom. Prachtig! Het bed was voortreffelijk!! Genoeg koffie- en thee beschikbaar in de kamer. De kamer was al eerder klaar dus we mochten er bij aankomst al eerder in. Super! Op de vertrekdag konden we de spullen in de winkel eronder bewaakt stallen. Heel fijn. Het contact via de app met het personeel was ook prettig.

Tja, je zit midden in de stad met de Dom dichtbij. De klokken hoor je en de reuring in de stad hoor je. Maar daar waren we op voorbereid en was niet storend. De oordoppen die klaar lagen op het nachtkastje hebben we niet hoeven gebruiken.

Incessant tolling of the church bells and the noise of people leaving the bars and restaurants. Super steep stairs, which could be an issue if you have mobility issues.

The location was great.

The room we chose and paid for wasn't the same as the pictures in the advertising. We believed we had paid for a front facing room with a Julliet balcony and when we arrived they had given us a room. facing another building under construction in the back. When I asked for the room I paid for I was told by the assistant manager that this was it. After requesting a refund and stating how I believed their ads to be misleading they made arrangements for us to have the original room and made it sound like they were doing me a favor. I was happy to finally get the room. The room was very clean and well maintained and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. They are a boutique hotel and although they communicate through WhatsApp quite well, there was an element of personal service that was missing. One thing not mentioned is that there isn't a lift, only very narrow and steep stairways. This is definitely not a hotel for a person with any mobility challenges, back,hip or knee issues or disabilities. I did not see mention of this in their advertising The location is a 10 out of 10, and if you are without disabilities or mobility challenges and can get a front facing room, then you will have a wonderful experience.

Toplocatie in het centrum van Utrecht, fijne kamer en goed bed.

Je hoort de kerkklokken wel, maar wij vonden ze niet storend (had wel oordopjes in).
