Arbor Inn Motor Lodge - Weymouth

Great little spot. Clean, quiet and affordable. Staff was very nice.

So initially I booked a budget (smoking) room, only because I didn’t see the non-smoking listing, and the (I think manager) at the desk offered us the non-smoking room for the same price, which he didn’t have to do and was very considerate and we appreciated it alot. The bed was comfortable and parking was very convenient.

Overall, it just didn’t feel the cleanest to be honest. As per usual we always check around for things like mold or bed bugs. And while we didn’t think we found evidence of any, there were quite a few odd looking spots on the ends of the mattress and some sort of orange residue towards the top. We also noticed there was gum pressed into the underside of the bed skirt haha, which would be pretty hard to notice so not going to fault anyone for that! The carpet also seemed like it could have used at least a vacuum, just overall didn’t seem like there was much attention to cleanliness.

The price and location were good

It’s in desperate need of new air, conditioners and outlets for devices like the air conditioners. The air conditioner in the room died while I was in there and the outlet had cinch marks on it. They really need to at least replace their outlets before the whole place goes up in flames. If they could fix that, it would be a decent place to stay for a decent price.

It was clean and I was greeted immediately with a very helpful and friendly attitude. The location was great for me.

It felt like there had been an effort to update the facilities but they weren’t completed. Paint was chipped, entry door was difficult, some parts just felt rundown.

An area to enjoy coffee other than the cramped office for registering. Picture of Inn was deceiving not what we expected. We were a little nervous staying there for safety reasons
