La habitación para 4 personas es muy amplia y con espacios separados. Excelente la atención del personal y la limpieza de todos los espacios. Un desayuno variado y muy rico. La sorpresa de agasajar a los huéspedes que cumplen años en el día, durante el momento del desayuno por iniciativa del lugar, me parece un detalle a destacar que habla de cuidar al visitante.

"Worst hotel experience I have ever had — and I travel frequently."

Unfortunately not much. We booked through Booking.com: a quadruple room for USD 90 and a double room for USD 80. Shortly after, we received a WhatsApp message from someone at the property. While our number is shared via the platform, we had not provided it directly for this purpose. They asked us to either transfer money or provide full credit card details—including the security code—to “secure” the booking, despite us already having a confirmed reservation with a booking number and PIN. As this is clearly unsafe and against Booking.com guidance, I requested to cancel. They then told us there was no need to pay in advance and that we could simply come and pay at the hotel. They also mentioned that they do not provide shampoo, conditioner, or pool towels, which already seemed inconsistent with how the property is presented online. Upon arrival, our booking was not recognised. Despite having the confirmation number, PIN, and WhatsApp messages, staff refused to check it and instead asked us to make a new reservation on the spot. We ended up booking a room for three and a room for one, assuming these matched our original booking. At reception, communication was unhelpful. When we asked about the difference between upstairs and downstairs rooms, we were simply told, “one is up, the other is down,” which prompted a brief chuckle from us given the lack of explanation—something that was clearly not well received. We chose downstairs as there is no elevator. Breakfast times were initially given as 9:00–9:45. After requesting a different option, we were first offered 8:00–8:45, and only after further discussion with another staff member were we told we could come between 8:00 and 10:00. When we entered the room, we discovered that the supposed quadruple room was actually a triple with only two beds. I raised this with staff and the manager was called. Cont below:

Cont from above: She immediately stated she “knew everything by memory,” interrupted repeatedly, and repeatedly explained the difference between triple and quadruple rooms, while accusing me of shouting when I was calmly explaining the issue. She insisted we needed to pay extra for a quadruple room and initially did not believe me when I said the agreed rate on Booking.com was USD 90. After finally connecting to the internet, I showed her the original confirmation. Despite this, she continued to be patronising and talking down to us, focusing on room definitions rather than addressing the actual issue—that we had booked accommodation for three people and were provided with insufficient bedding. At that point, we decided to leave and request a refund. The process was chaotic, with staff struggling to operate their own system. During this interaction, the manager called us “loud,” “difficult,” “chicken,” and other inappropriate names in front of junior staff, which was completely unprofessional. It is not surprising that the property was empty and has such poor reviews. We ended up staying at a nearby beachfront hotel around the corner, which was significantly better—nicer rooms, better price, breakfast from 8:00 to 10:30, proper amenities (including pool towels, shampoo, and conditioner), and friendly, professional staff. OVERALL, THIS PROPERTY IS MISLEADINGLY ADVERTISED, POORLY MANAGED, AND HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING IT.
