Nice attentive people, great restaurant downstairs, fantastic value for money, and genuine food, not processed...

City noise, police cars and emergency services, sirens, not the hotels fault...

Central location and superb hospitality. Basic facilities but hosts were such lovely, welcoming people it was easy to look past the wear and tear of the building.

Not able to order breakfast was disappointing. The ensuite could do with an upgrade, shower was awkward to use without flooding the floor.

Close to Queensgate

Location - Main reason to stay - 5 mins to Queensgate Shopping Centre. Public Transport great, didn’t need to use my car Ample Parking on Property.

Very dated, no air conditioning, very stained Carpets

I got what I paid for. But it meet my needs and I am grateful. It is very out dated. But it was clean and tidy. Very central to everything.

No modern TV services. only one set if towels per person. There was a slight draft but didn't know where it was coming from. If I was on my own I would not have been warm with the blankets provided. There was only 3 pillows for 2 people.

The staff were excellent. They gave us a box of chocolates for Christmas, allowed us to obtain a table for five at their restaurant at short notice and went out of their way to ensure that I had vegetarian food. They also opened the restaurant up in the evening just for the two of us. We would return there again when in the area.

We found the settee a little difficult to get up from, as it was a bit low, but the staff were very good.
