"It was a busy night in the Bar and restaurant, but the staff were all friendly and accommodating."

It the bar was busy when we arrived, but it quietened down pretty early and The Hotel was nice and quiet so we had a good nights sleep.

Fair price for a country pub. Very pleasant staff and Kim ? a great hostess Nice room & facilities and a good place to rest after a long day.. Food was well priced and breakfast was a bonus. I was surprised that it did not have more guests who might have been travelling N/ S. Would stay again if I was thinking of stopping overnight at either Timaru/Oamaru
