Mu Cang Homestay

The accommodation is not as shown in the pictures. If you don’t mind night visitors like centipedes, cockroaches, and other insects, it’s okay-ish. But there are too many holes and gaps, and the “house” is not sealed properly, especially the bathroom, so animals can easily get inside. We killed two cockroaches during the night. The place was also not clean. There is a shared kitchen, but it was so dirty that you won’t want to use it. Not worth the price.

Very homely and basic but with everything you need including a big tv internet and aircon etc. with great views of the mountains

Upgrading the linens towels etc would be good - clean but maybe time for some new ones.

Total in the center of Mu Cang Chai, even bussar can stop in front of the hostel if you show it to driver. Good value for money.

The family’s daughter was very friendly. The whole place is overall peaceful.

The hot water last for about 30 seconds, the toilet windows and walls are not very clean and we weren’t sure about quite a few things in the house such as soap and shampoo to be used, where to leave dirty dishes and cups, rubbish etc as it was a bit untidy

Great location, touring services, inexpensive, flexible with check in and checkout

The bungalow is a bit rustic, up on the hill, but the price is right

Liegt geil, man kann gut in die Berge wandern. Unterkunft sehr schön und die Leute nett
