FOREST BREATH ECO-LODGE

I like the cost terrace of my bungalow when I could get it. Also like the happiness of the staff.

I booked a bungalow for 3 nights but I got it only for 2 nights. Because the first night, the hotel made overbooking. So I had to stay in a very rudimentary room for the first night. It’s an unpleasant experience. I asked to the staff a price reduction but they don’t understand any English and in the end on the bill they didn’t make any little reduction.

This hotel gives good value for money, but don't expect much luxury. The bathroom is very basic and apart from the room and the common dining area the hotel has no other facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful but doesn't speak any English. So make sure to have Google Translate on your phone. The hotel offers decent wifi (the website says it doesn't) and it's a good starting point to visit the Cat Tien National Park. The rooms have a good bed with a mosquito net and the airconditioning is sufficient for the room. The food was rather simple but really tasty and cheap and there is enough choice from the menu.

The staff is very nice and helpful, prepare a translator (they don't speak English here, but we got along well with the translator). If you write in advance, the staff will arrange a taxi from the bus to the hotel, on the spot the staff helped us arrange our way to Saigon (We were really grateful for that). Breakfast was good, we each got two eggs and a baguette. You can also go here for dinner. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the boat to the nature park.

Accommodation to basic but nice and fairly clean. It is necessary to be prepared that some insects may find your room

Really nice view with gardens, good for team travels where you can have barbecues together The rooms are cleaned. There will be mosquitos but that is expected since you are near the forest. Remember to use the mosquito nets provided by the homestay when you sleep The location is really close to the dock, just 5 min of walking The food is good and plenty. "Cá lăng" hot pot (lẩu cá lăng) might be a good choice to start with The host is really nice, but she did not speak English really well.

Since you are out of the Cat Tien National Park, you will be charged the entrance fee each time you go by boat to the park and that can cost you a bit more (60.000 VND for each ride). You will be charged once if you decide to stay inside the park However, you will have a better homestay outside, plus you can enjoy some local restaurants and buy stuff in the grocery store nearby. This is a trade-off, but it is best that you should plan and reserve your trip beforehand to avoid cost of entrance fee

Really nice and friendly family, communication was a bit difficult, but not a problem. The room was super spacious with a really nice view. Good restaurant

Really nice rooms very close to the park entrance. The family who run it are all incredibly kind and thoughtful. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in a family bungalow, comfy beds with lots of space.

Great people, lovey stay. A bit of a language barrier, but their daughter they translate through is amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent structure, quiet location and close to the entrance to the national park. The family that runs it is very welcoming and kind, they make you feel like family! Thanks so much for everything
