Anatolia Hotel Geyre Karacasu Aydın (Aphrodisias)

Very attractive hotel in a rural area. The garden around the pool is beautiful. The room was comfortable and the owners have a restaurant just up the road where we had breakfast (included) and paid for dinner. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Aphrodisias was about a mile up the road.

Dinner at the restaurant was a little expensive.

Clean, cool room. Bathroom had a lovely shower. Beautiful garden with pool. Excellent country breakfast with hot fresh bread, delicious butter and amazing home made jams plus salad and eggs

Location was perfect for us between the acient sites of Kibyra and Afrodisia. The garden is like a tiny garden of Eden.

L'accueil terrible et le repas du soir au restaurant lié à l'hébergement immangeable. Du coup nous ne sommes pas allés déjeuner.

Cet établissement est dans Geyre près du grand site d'Aphrodisias et idéal pour y partir dès le matin. Plein de charme au niveau de son architecture assez ancienne, il dispose aussi d'une piscine tout à fait de bonne taille dont nous avons profité avec plaisir dès le matin. Les chambres sont tout à fait honorables, la seule réserve que je pourrais apporter et que pour ma part, j'en ai eu une qui donnait sur les poubelles et l'entrée, avec peu de lumière et sans aucun agrément. Le petit-déjeuner fut servi dans le restaurant qui dépend de la même gestion et était excellent.

L'accueil est un peu bizarre avec quelqu'un sur place qui ne se présente pas et qui renvoie au restaurant pour le reste. Le lendemain midi nous sommes allés déjeuner dans le restaurant qui dépend de la même maison, les plats étaient corrects mais malheureusement sans indication de prix et nous avons trouvé que c'était cher pour ce que c'était, donc ce fut une mauvaise surprise.

If you like authentic, small village experience not expressly catered to tourists, this is a fine choice. In order to visit the ancient ruins at Aphrodisias and stay overnight, it's primo. The town of Geyre has few accommodations. The cottage/hotel was lovely, the pool was excellent. Very satisfying breakfast, with local olives and a nice simple omelette.

It was difficult to find. The general area is quiet, somewhat remote from businesses ; there are humble, run-down houses in the neighborhood, and farm equipment. Not enough clear signage. And the restaurant is several blocks away from the hotel. We were a bit confused. But otherwise-all fine.
