Maisha Matamu Boutique

Maisha Matamu Boutique is a lovely place to stay. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the location is amazing. There’s a beautiful breakfast terrace with a stunning view, which was a real highlight. The room was simple but very comfortable, well air-conditioned, and had everything we needed. Would happily stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this property. I loved that they didn’t allow day visitors. So the place was for the guests only. It wasn’t overrun by kids, it’s a good spot for a couple.

I’d rather they just turn the power off if they can’t get the generator to work. For all 3 nights we’re were there it was clicking on and off — for a sensitive noise sleeper it was driving me nuts.

Schönes Hotel, alles modern und sauber. Die Mitarbeiter waren immer super freundlich!

Das Frühstück hat uns geschmacklich leider nicht überzeugt.

Le délai d’attente pour manger. Il faut s voir prendre son temps. Ou du moins bien le gérer surtout pour le départ aux excursions le matin 😁

The room was very nice. The hotel is next to the beach.

The system was overused, so there was so many power outage during the days. Meaning, the AC restarted a thousand times during the night. We had to ask for towels every day. The cleaning lady sometimes just give one new instead of two. The breakfast wasn’t really rich. We had to wait for hours for our food. (One day we literally had to wait 2 hours to get our meal and 35 mins to get only one dessert. (At least we got drinks on the house, when after 1.5hours waiting time, we decided to leave. They could not say anything else, that they are really sorry. There was 15 people beside us. In my opinion 15 ppl is not enough to kill a hotel’ kitchen. At least if they knew it was 24th of December, Christmas Eve, they could be prepared for a little more. If some meal is incomplete (like they did not have hummus, ice cream, jam etc.) they do not Tell you before, but you just realize when the food arrives. The salads are even smaller than the starters. At the end they put 5% plus if you would like to pay buy card, but they do not inform you about this, just add as an extra to your bills. It was not even written down anywhere, when I asked them to show it to me. All the staff spoke English perfectly, or at least they seemed to speak perfectly. But sometimes I felt that they do not understand a word of what I am speaking. They just smiled.:) Like I asked for some fresh tomato and I got grilled ones. (At least I got any)

Superfint lite sted rett på stranden, hvitt sand over alt, enda finere enn på bildene. Hyggelig og imøtekommende personale som fikset det meste. Egen «hageflekk» til alle rommene, noen med egen hengekøye. God frokost og variert meny i restauranten. Vakthold hele døgnet, rent og ryddig.

Øl/brus i baren kunne gjerne vært kaldere, og det var litt lenge å vente på maten til tider. Lite trykk i dusjen, men det er det nok de fleste stedene.

Everything is arranged with love and lot of creativity. The personal very friendly. During my 3 weeks stay we became like family and the management tried to make you happy in any question and request. My stay was fantastic and i say thank you for everything to all of them ❤️💛💚👸🏽you you
