Motel 6 Garden Grove

Great little gem off the highway for a 6 day trip to Disneyland. Entire hotel was under renovation during our stay, and the rooms are improved. Room is spacious and appeared clean and fresh. The renovation is one of those “surface” renovations where when you look close there’s a lot of things they didn’t and probably won’t touch. The staff were super polite and helpful when I needed anything. The AC unit was vibrating super loud and I asked them to look at it and see if they could do anything. When we returned it was silent! Be aware though, the entrance to the hotel is on Trask, and there is no way to turn left into the lot at the light. You have to go down a bit further and U turn. I do recommend this place if you’re on a budget but still want to be close enough to the parks.

Dirtiest Motel 6 my family has ever stayed in. Floors, walls, and shower were filthy. Towels were paper thin. No bed side light, only bright celling lights. No fitted sheets or curtains. No pool, they were ripping it out. They were rude and lied to us.

Super clean and everyone was very friendly

The pool was closed but we didn’t really use it so it was good!

It’s near the 22 freeway in Garden Grove and it’s had some shops nearby.

I ended up getting the smoking king size bedroom and the room had that tobacco smell. The property seemed to be a bit old and outdated. The sheets had a hole and spot a baby cockroach.
