Citrusdal Country Lodge

The hostess was brilliant and checked on us several times.

Nothing, it was amazing experience.

The few available staff were friendly. The pool was kept clean. Breakfast was good.

Too few staff on duty. Promises to bring pool towels never materialized. We were in a room with water flooding the bathroom with every shower and no bathroom window or extractor so the room was damp and stank of mold. The TV worked for 3 hours in 5 days for 2 little girls. Requests for assistance were all ignored. The pool was a disaster at various times each day as large families played ball games and dived into the pool despite the babies being in the pool. There was no supervision from lodge despite the rules clearly visible. I would not recommend.

It was exactly as advertised,clean ,the staff was exceptional. I will definitely visit the lodge again. Well done Citrusdal Country Lodge,well done .

We loved the spacious family room with the kitchenette that even had an air fryer. The vintage decor with modern elements worked well for this country selfcatering hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The swimming pool was a great spot to cool down with ample shade and seating.

Friendly staff. Excellent steak.
