Staff helpfull and friendly

Nothing at all.

Room was clean and very nice.

Breakfast was super! Staff very friendly and professional. We had a lovely view from our room on the lake. And also, the nice surroundings outside - we could sit in comfort and chat with our friends! Wil certainly try to go again!

It is very clean indeed. The room was big and comfortable. The hotel lawns in front of the hotel overlooking the jetty are pretty. It is well maintained. We had a decent enough stay considering it is only a 2 star hotel. The breakfast was decent.

The noise from the bikers at the bar until 23:00 on our first night was unpleasant. Also unpleasant was people in the room next door braaiing right outside our sliding door and playing music and making a noise the second night. The room walls are paper thin. The receptionist, Chanelle greeted us well on arrival and gave us useful info about eateries in the area, however after that all the reception staff (including her) were cold, unfriendly and sit in the entrance on their phones the whole time. They can barely acknowledge your presence when you walk through. It would be great if the staff could lift their heads from their phones and be friendly and ask if you slept well, how are you today, just greeted in general. They made me feel uncomfortable like an intruder in their hotel. The one breakfast waiter was a friendly-ish person - thank goodness for him. I think it’s imperative if you’re running an establishment that accommodates people that your staff are welcoming, chatty, warm and friendly.
