The kids really loved the forest and exploring. The bedrooms are lovely.

We stayed in the Barn. So this review is specifically for the BARN. Even though housekeeping is included our rooms wasn't serviced. Only the kitchen. We did not have warm water the first night and the second night we had to start the donkey geyser (fire heated geyser) ourselves, because the staff didn't start it - even though it is specifically pointed out that guest should not start the geyser - the staff will. The bedrooms are lovely, but the rest of the house was cold. The bathrooms really need an upgrade too.

The location is great if you are looking for a secluded spot in nature!

We expected to be able to get dinner at the Zwakala brewery which is on the same location. Unfortunately the brewery is only open from Friday to Sunday and so we could not get a meal. We had not prepared for not being able to get a meal from the brewery and because it is far from town it is not easy to rectify this if you are staying for a short period.

Surprisingly there was a double booking,but the owners handled it swiftly and efficiently as they arranged for alternative upgrade to our initial booking.
