"We were tired and Aliwal was HOT. We were grateful for neat, cool, airconditioned rooms."

AIRCONS!!! Aircon in one room was not working and the cleaning staff promptly arranged for another room with a working aircon. This was sooooo appreciated. Linen was clean and fresh. Coffee, tea, sugar well stocked. Bathrooms clean. Cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful as was the security. Beautiful, well kept gardens.

General revamp needed as stairs to 1st floor "dodgy" looking. Some looked rotten and in need of repair or repaint. Carpets were stained and a very good clean or replacement recommended. I booked 3 rooms and in all the carpets looks dirty.

"Comfortable stay in a pretty setting"

A lovely comfortable stay, with very friendly staff.

We were next to the staircase which made it very noisy with guests arriving or returning to their rooms.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The pool was clean nd the food was great. Ashley provided us with an great service.

However there is no fridge in the rooms, even a small bar fridge
