The City Club

Nice location, easy parking access, good sized room

During my stay, the room was not cleaned at all, the towels were never replaced, and no toiletries were provided. Despite asking the concierge for assistance, nothing was resolved, and I eventually had to purchase toiletries myself. This was very disappointing and fell short of basic hospitality standards.

There was no breakfast. I don't have much to say here in terms of likes other than the room was clean, smelt like cleaning agents so I assumed that this was done like recently when I arrived. Other City club venues were better

There was no breakfast, no presentation of wifi code, there was none.... the room was clean but strong detergent snell, mould on lamp. Mixed staff communication. Other areas like by the steps inside wasn't swept. Cleaning items just on display everywhere, staff sitting at weird spots kinda just on a chilled vibe but staff can't be laying on concrete in the middle of nowhere. Also the pool was not clean, yet listed as an attraction. The shower curtain doesn't reach the floor so the floor gets wet. The bookings.com features were incorrect cos when asked I was told they don't have that. Hard bed. This was not worth R600, I would say the Albert Street city club place is better but since this place was owned by city club I thought it would be acceptable. But no it wasn't unfortunately

The TV was not working for two days Your staff was not friendly the shower was not working properly There was no fresh towels the next days There was 1 soap only and we two people for 2 days The access card working intermittently

The bathroom and the room had no ventilation and the floor is always wet. The room windows didn't open.
