Shoreham Oceanfront Hotel

Massively exceded our expectations. It's the oldest operating hotel in OCMD and has all the charm that goes with it. It's perfectly located right on the boardwalk. Staff is amazing. It also might be haunted according to the tour and the internet.

Beds aren't great.

I was really surprised they had muffins, breakfast bars and coffee for free. They could use some new mattresses. Mine was really dipped down in the center. Overall for the price we paid, the place was awesome. They actually had free ice machine in the hallway and where I usually stay is double the price you pay for ice and no free breakfast. A younger gentleman that was at the desk in the pm was kind of rude to my granddaughters, my 2 granddaughters and their friends come in to go upstairs and get something, and he drilled them like he was the police, you don't have a wristband on, well, they didn't give us any when we checked in and then he wanted to check the room to see how big it was. That kinda made me upset especially since 2 of them were not staying. other than that this place was good. The older lady that checked us in was great!

Did not care for the bed. It was not comfortable at all , it had a big dip in the center like you could probably fold it right in half very easily.

the price was ok, some of the communication with the staff was questionable the biggest thing was no elevator if you have problems walking it could be a problem !

On boardwalk, 4th street close to everything. Customer service was great. Ac worked. Bed was comfy, I stripped the bed before bringing everything up to check for bed bugs. It’s the first thing I do at any hotel. That part was clean.

Stairwell small so you had to wait for others to come down , no elevator. Room was small, hair in tub, some hair stuck to sheets. Tv remote didn’t work. Shower took forever to warm up. Ceiling in bathroom was stained and falling down. Everything was slanted. A the bar down belong noisy til bar closing time.

It'd old and dumpy but not a dive. The Location is good. Some of the staff were less than trained fully.
