When I came to check in the clerk was real rude so that’s why I cancelled because he was very rude when I was talking to him

Clean floor, clean towels, clean grounds, basic, hard mattress was excellent. Owner was amicable when my business associate didn't have to stay the second night and they issued a refund. Worth maybe 40 a night until they add non smoking signage, fix furniture and bathroom lights, but was affordable

Broken doors on furniture, weird smell like definitely wasn't non smoking. A lot of smokers stay there. The 20 second motion activated light in the bathroom drove me nuts. It takes a lot longer than 20 seconds to shower so that was stupid.

The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty hot water in the shower.

The manager is new and doesn't appear to know what he's doing. It felt like a jail cell with no dead bolt. The floors were filthy, probably because of the visible space at the bottom of the door. Even though we were told it was a non-smoking room, it wreaked of cigarette smoke.

When I got to the motel, they said I didn't have a reservation because they had forgotten to put my credit card number on the request, even tho I had to give my card number to reserve the room.

Location of the motel close to state parks for hiking and a resonnable price compared to other same low quality places in the same area while still expensive for the quality

The unpleasant welcome of the motel owner who tried to change the price from booking.com and declined the card I used on the website to prebook the place because it was not my name but the name of my partner not present that day. The process took 30-45 minutes as the owner did not trust he will get the payment. Insects and the smell of cigarettes in some bedsheets (pillow) and no good repair of the room.

Location was good for the downtown area.
