De ligging tegen het oude gedeelte van Schoonhoven was ideaal. Onze kamer had uitzicht op de rivier wat de sfeer zeer ten goede kwam. Verder was het personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook het restaurant was goed. Zilvermuseum is een aanrader, evenals Nieuwpoort, aan de overkant van de rivier.

We hebben geen enkele negatieve opmerking t.a.v. het hotel zelf. Het is wel even zoeken ergens een parkeerplaats in de directe omgeving van het hotel te vinden.
