Sulu Sea Boutique Hotel

Beautiful accommodation in a quiet location only two minutes walk to Diniwid beach. The staff were more than helpful, offering us towels for the beach and organising our transport to the ferry. Breakfast was very tasty and the room was large and clean. Great place to stay if you want to relax and chill out

Really close to a lovely little beach at the north end of the long white beach. Just know that it is very busy during the weekends especially in high season with both local groups using it and many tourists too. Big bathroom area in the room. The room we got was on the top floor and it had a huge veranda which looked out to the beach/sea and was great for sunsets (if the clouds break...). Breakfast is simple but cost effective with free coffee, if not included in the room rate. Beach towels are available at reception if you ask. There's a great beach restaurant on the beach but it's pricey.

Some water in the room each day would be nice. Need to take a tricycle to get to the end of the road for the local mall or hop on hop off bus. If you do many trips during your stay the cost can quickly add up, negotiating isn't always pleasant. The workers will come to the veranda to sweep away the water if (when) it rains over night, the roof into the kitchen/dining area leeks. The shower door was quite stuck/not easy to open/close.

Location Staff

Quaint hotel located in the hill above a private beach and a short walk from Station One and the shopping mall, it is probably the most perfect location for privacy and accessibility. The are great restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity and only a 15 minute walk to D Mall where most of the bars and restaurants are in Boracay. I would definitely choose this hotel again, it is one of the most quiet, picturesque, comfortable rooms I have experienced in all of Asia.

The service was superb. The bed was comfy. The shower was hot and strong. The bidet was strong.

Lighting is a bit dim; the one in the bathroom definitely needs better lighting. We booked the suite hoping for a good view of the beach. We should have booked a lower floor coz the additional cost was pointless. To be honest, i would have scored this lower than 8 except that the staff was really nice. We stayed in a different hotel for business and the latter did cost less with better comfort.
