Jaribu Beach Hotel

We waren na een 5-daagse safari bewust op zoek naar een kleinschalige en relaxte accommodatie. Daaraan voldeed Jaribu Beach Hotel compleet. De ligging pal aan zee, de tuin met daar omheen de lodges, het vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel plus twee chefs die kunnen koken maakten ons verblijf zeer aangenaam.

Elke ochtend een bord met vers fruit, keuze uit gebakken, scrambled of gekookt ei, yoghurt of pancakes. De koffie, gezet in een cafetière, kan beter.

De matrassen zijn behoorlijk stevig.

Le cadre vraiment apaisant, un havre de paix. La piscine excellente avec belle vue, personnel hyper sympa et a l’écoute…

Pas de frigo dans les chambres et malheureusement le personnel ne peut rien mettre dans leur frigo

Amabilité du personnel.

Pas de rangement dans la chambre. Salle de restaurant exposée plein vent. Impossibilité de baignade ( plage rocailleuse et parsemée d'algues).

Leider hatten wir bei unserem Aufenthalt Baustellenlärm links und rechts von der Anlage.

L’hotel ha soddisfatto le aspettative, lo staff competente e amichevole, la stanza confortevole. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. L’hotel era immerso nel verde e consentiva di rilassarsi tra natura e piscina.

Le personnel adorable.

Loin du centre ville.Les chaises très inconfortables du restaurant.l’accès très cabossé , difficile à trouver, on dirait qu’on arrive dans un entrepôt.

The accommodation was superb. We stayed in a detached thatched bungalow which had aircon, tea and coffee making facilities and was super comfortable, only feet away from the beach. The pool was lovely and kept very clean. The included breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, choice of eggs (we had Spanish omelette - delicious!), pancakes with homemade passion fruit jam and chocolate sauce plus occasion extras such as muesli with yoghurt. Other meals were also superb (eg seafood lasagne, pizza) and reasonably priced. The staff were all really helpful - thank you to Mahmood, Kasim, Anthony and everyone who looked after us so well. The ladies who cleaned the rooms made up the towels beautifully (swans/hearts/teddy bears). Thank you to Rachel and the whole team.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Wouldn't want to change a thing. People have commented about the beach being rocky in front of the hotel, which it is, so you can't easily swim in it here, but you can walk for 10 to 15 minutes along the beach to Jambiani beach or else wait until low tide and walk to the sandbar along the concrete walkway just to the left of the hotel. The position of the hotel between Paje and Jambiani means you have peace and quiet but are not far away from these 2 popular villages with lots of shops and watersports on offer.
