the receptionist isn’t 24 hours when we need to extend the others room should wait until the Staff start the working hour, the water heater didn’t work maximum heat

Good no-nonsense hotel in the centre of Soe. Rooms are large and airy - don't expect luxury, but my room was clean, and hot water actually worked. There's a nice communal balcony with sweeping views over the countryside. Location is very central, there's an okay Padang restaurant next door (where breakfast is taken, too), and staff are very friendly.

Can be a bit noisy, depending on who's staying in the room next door.
