Transylvanian Inn

We found this amazing spot thanks to our friend Dana (huge shoutout to her for booking it!). From the moment we got there, we were totally charmed. The villa feels like a secret hideaway—super cozy and special. Even though we arrived pretty late (around 9 PM), the chef was ready to cook us a full dinner—and the whole menu was still available! Everything we tried was delicious and made with fresh local ingredients. If you go, definitely try the papanasi—it was unreal. Breakfast the next morning was just as great. Homemade jam (they even gave us two jars to take home!) and super refreshing socata. The rooms were comfy and the views from our balconies were absolutely stunning. Big thanks to Laura, our wonderful host—it was so nice meeting her. She made us feel right at home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Warm welcome, kind host. Rich and delicious breakfast with great views (Bran castle included) from the terrace. Not too far from Bran center but far away enough to enjoy quiet times with a glass of wine in the evening. Library visit on the top floor is a must 🙂 Highly recommended.

Everything was just amazing! The location has a magnificent view, the staff are wonderful, the amenities are excellent - and a cool thing it’s that it has a great library with thousands of books 📚

All was just great

Wonderful space. Beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere in the mountains of Transalvania. A home away from home. Comfortable rooms. Local cuisine and great hosts. You can relax and explore the surrounding area with ease. Would highly recommend if you are visiting the area. Close to Dracular’s castle.

Lovely hotel owned by a Romanian family that has put so much love into it. The views and the warmth of the people makes me wanting to return. The food is home made and very typical and I really enjoyed it. It is very close to the Dracula castle and to the city of Bran.

We were here with a group tour and it a great place to stay. Fabulous views from the library and terrace, very kind and hospitable staff who made sure we enjoyed the local Easter celebrations - including generous complementary midnight boiled eggs, cake and red wine. One of these resulted in a slow start the next day but it was great fun.

Very special hotel in a very special location. Situated in a village near Bran the hotel offers stunning views on Bran (Dracula) castle and picturesque surroundings. The host was exceptionally warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay.

The choice of drinks in the restaurant could be a bit more diverse.

It is a peaceful, gorgeous, hospitable place from every point of view. We went to a Retreat organized there and were impressed by the tasty dishes, the hospitality of the staff, every detail being perfected. I recommend it wholeheartedly and can't wait to come back. ♥️

Transylvannian Inn, perfect blend between rustic, but with modern comfort. Lovely view, great services, delicious food. In my mind still lingers the feelings of closeness to nature and fresh air. Definitely will visit again. Until then, I rejoice in the wonderful memories...

The view of the village and the mountains is incredible! I had the feeling of being so close to the nature! The rooms are very comfortable, restful beds, warm bathrooms, very clean. The food was so delicious that you instantly feel it was cooked with love and passion. The hosts are kind, always eager to help. The variety of spaces makes Transylvanian Inn a good place to organise trainings, team-buildings or group happenings.
