There are many steps down to accomm and it is a walk up hill from Main Street , but not unexpected in Ella. Tuk tuks can be taken if needed

After my reservation was confirmed, I was informed that I would need to change rooms after the second night, and if I did not accept this, I would have to leave the hotel. This kind of issue is not the guest’s responsibility and should have been managed by the hotel in advance. Additionally, every morning around 6 AM, the staff would talk loudly right outside my door, which repeatedly woke me up. Overall, this hotel is definitely not worth the money. I would strongly recommend staying away.

Hotel is very well located: 5min walk to the center, and a marvelous view of the valley - which is the best part of the hotel. Staff is also friendly and supportive, and breakfast was good with multiple options.

I got surprised with the family room we booked. The two "rooms" are not very well separated, same for half a wall for the bathroom. Intimacy is not great if you don't travel with your close family. While the breakfast is great, quality of the food for lunch and dinner is not the best, a rather expensive compared to options at Ella. Also the pool is wonderfully located with a nice view on the mountains, but would require to be changed/cleaned more often as it was a bit murky.
