Food good quality friendly staff clean rooms

10mins to office, 3mins to Hook Train station, spacious, strong wifi, serene. Good breakfast.

Built-in heater down, staff gave me mobile heater. No Chef to make 1st breakfast, had discounted dinner. Rest are fine. Promised to store luggage upon check-out, did not materialise as lady in morning said storeroom too small.

The room was very nice fantastic size bed and a good shower

Attention to detail on cleaning, little bits had been missed. Paintwork on the walls had scuffs and just needs to be touched up. There needs to be more gluten free choices as a celiac there was not much for me when we had breakfast and dinner here.

Large, well-appointed rooms in a clean, well-maintained modern annex. A good choice of 'pub grub' style food available throughout the day. Screens were available in the bar areas for sports fans but the volume wasn't intrusive for others. Friendly competent staff, who maintained their standards at the end of a busy Saturday service.

The rooms would benefit from a mini-fridge. The self-contained garden at the side of the property was just a little scruffy and uninspiring, with some effort and tlc this could be an enjoyable space to relax.

TV volume set too low by hotel, very difficult to hear. Poor lighting, very limited breakfast options
