I had to change my pillows and staff very good and on living.

Feather pillows I’m allergic and should have a choice.

Good breakfast, value for money, cleanliness, good location for shopping etc.

Nothing as it was value for money

Location was good.

They have their own car park but they charge £12/ day from their own customers. I would understand if they charged for non stayers fee for wanting to park their vehicle but charging customers who are staying at the hotel, who are paying the premium already is ridiculous. Additionally it’s £12/ day! They can’t argue it’s the ‘city center’ and that’s how much we have to charge you because literally right across the road there’s a massive car park which only charges £4/24hrs! To add to this, there is no way to access the Hilton’s car park directly from the hotel. Saw a family struggling to get into the car park because the pin didn’t work. At this rate, might as well park at the public car park! Room was adequate- our room had carpet staples sticking out the carpet and kept hurting us- the carpet is some dark/black so you can’t correctly identify where it is unless you get on your all fours trying to locate it. Room was also dusty, we were sneezing constantly, they should throughly hoover all area after each guest. After all people pay high price for hotel to have the these basic benefits provided, not because we enjoy spending our money! Breakfast was rubbish- not worth the money at all! No options vegans or vegetarians. Very small variety, again for the price we pay for breakfast and to stay at the hotel, they don’t deliver much. Just a small cereal, bread and yoghurt station with hot eggs, bacon, beans and mushrooms. Cups are cutlery had stuff sticking to them and not cleaned properly. We ordered room service, they advertise as they have a kitchen with a ‘famous chef’ but food was 0! Having had lived in hull for 4 years, could walk to St Stephen’s and have a variety of options and at that at a reasonable price! Got charged £42 for 2 dishes! One of the dishes we got was fish and chips and the fish is frozen just fried and when you cut into it the fish is mushy inside.

Bed was poor, creaking, rubbish pillows, and uncomfortable matteress. The shower floor was minging

Departed early in the morning before breakfast but was delighted that there was the opportunity to have a continental breakfast which is what i prefer.
