Готель Ангел на Великій Кільцевій

The jacuzzi option was really worth it, the room was spacious and luxurious, the halls and breakfast room all had an impressive decoration and the breakfast was cheap and good. As I was working here, the porridge was definitely consistent enough to be fit for the day and then a perfect vegetarian option. Most of the staff was nice and as helpful as possible despite the language barrier.

The jacuzzi was pretty dirty so I spent some time cleaning it myself as it was late and I didn't feel like arguing over it. The location is on the ring road so better prepare your lungs! The advantage was to have bus and marshrutka nearby to get to the city center while being far enough to feel a bit safer during russian attacks. That was most welcome during one heavy ballistic attack! I tried learning some words but as I had heavy working days I couldn't get more conversational and the hotel owner (or the person who seemed to be) wasn't trying hard to help me understand her and rather got angry when my ukrainian level wasn't good enough. Also I really didn't appreciate that she was trying to ask for paying for another day when I was trying to say that it was my last breakfast here. It was 8am on the departure day and my Uber was already booked for 11h35 whilst the checkout was at 12. Even if I couldn't understand everything she said, I don't understand why anyone would start even just mentioning a payment for an extra day way ahead of the checkout time...

One time after the curfew I struggle for them to let me in. I had to call several times because they kept hanging up. But this is an amazing price for a very very very beautiful hotel 😍 the most beautiful hotel. I would come again but be ready to jump the gate after the curfew.
